Welcome
Now in its fifth year as a closed-road asphalt event, the Dunoon Presents Argyll Rally continues to thrive, thanks to the unwavering support of Dunoon Presents and the entire local community. This June, competitors can expect a thrilling mix of tried-and-tested stages alongside exciting new variations and fresh tests to keep the rally challenging for all.
The rally kicks off with the iconic Dunoon Town Centre Stage, an electrifying three-quarter-mile sprint through the fac-packed streets. Run twice in quick succession, this crowd-favorite spectacle sets the tone for the weekend.
From there, the competition shifts to the countryside, tackling five demanding stages before culminating in the Oyster Catcher test—a full eight-mile blast under the cover of darkness. This dramatic finale on Friday night will push crews to their limits before they return to Dunoon around 22:00, having completed nearly 26 competitive miles.
On Saturday, the intensity ramps up with nine special stages, bringing the total competitive mileage to 72 miles. The Bealach Maim stage gets a “fast and furious” extension, adding a thrilling three-mile stretch known as Kilfinan, while the introduction of Millhouses, a brand-new four-mile stage at the southern end of the Cowal Peninsula, adds a fresh challenge with its narrow and technical roads.
Once again, Dunoon Stadium will serve as the heart of the event, hosting service and pre-event documentation. The rally’s success would not be possible without the invaluable support of Argyll and Bute Council, Police Scotland, and the hundreds of dedicated volunteers who ensure the smooth and safe running of the event.
We look forward to welcoming you all to Dunoon this June for an unforgettable weekend of high-speed rally action!
